Magic Kingdom Fireworks - May 4, 2009

Monday night we went back to the Magic Kingdom to ride some rides while the parade was going on and then watched the fireworks. Tanek was able to ride all of his favorite rides while we were there. He stayed awake for the fireworks this time, and he really enjoyed seeing them while sitting on Nana's shoulders. Here are some picutres of the fireworks:

Epcot Fireworks- May 5, 2009

Tuesday evening we went to Epcot to see the fireworks. It was well worth the trip! Here are some pictures, but they don't do the show justice.

Tanek and I went to Disney on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (May 4-6) with Nana and Meme Anita. This time we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and it was really pretty and peaceful. As soon as we got there, we let Tanek play on the playground for a bit, use the potty (he's being such a big boy!), and get something to drink. Then, he was anxious to get on the DISNEY BUS, so we headed off to the Magic Kingdom. As soon as we walked into the park, there was Pluto taking pictures, so we got in line to see Tanek's favorite character! Having his picture with Pluto just made his day. On our way to find some lunch, we rode the carousel, and then we went to the teacups, Goofy's Barnstormer rollercoaster, a little shopping, and a ride on the train. By then, we were all really hot, so we headed to the resort and let Tanek "swim" for awhile in the kiddie pool. He had such a blast splashing around, putting his head in the water, and making friends with the other kids. Nana has some pictures of Tanek in the kiddie pool on her blog if anyone wants to see them. Here are some pictures of the day: Tanek meeting Pluto - he actually walked up to see him by himself this time! He hasn't done that with any other characters.

After dinner at the resort, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom for more fun and fireworks! By the end of the day, Tanek was too worn out to even stay awake on the Disney bus for the trip back to the room! But, he loved every minute of his exciting day!
